The Iyaloja of Ijebuland, Alhaja Sadia Elewuju was on Wednesday assassinated by unknown gunmen at her residence in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

Iyaloja of Ijebu-Ode, Alhaja Sadia Elewuju whose role to the Ijebus is the leader of the market women was killed in her home in Ijebu on Wednesday, 8th of july 2015 by six unidentified gunmen who shot her at close range in her home and went ahead to cut her with a machete... She died on her way to the hospital.

Iyaloja was a very outspoken woman and a very active and influential person in political matters. she aged 82 years. may her soul R.I.P.
